Every year one person is the recipient of the prestigious NAJ's Greenough Trophy. This mark of recognition for skill, dedication and hard work is presented to the student who achieves the highest aggregate marks, having completed the most outstanding project in the Professional Jewellers’ Diploma.
This year it was Victoria Parker from GS Milton, St Helens, who carried off the coveted award. Her name joins all previous recipients engraved upon the beautiful trophy that was first awarded in 1946.

The great advantage of cloud-based systems is their mobility – as long as you have an internet connection, you’re live.
So it comes as no surprise that stores or designers using Bransom’s new mPoS system can take their tablet tills out on location, whether that’s a stand at a Wedding fair in a hotel, at a Christmas fair or perhaps a craft fair.
Bransom Retail Systems used the Jewellery & Watch show to demonstrate its new cloud-based mobile PoS solutions to the trade, and reported high levels of interest at the event.
“We’re always pleased to see our existing customers and they have shown a great deal of interest in adding the new mPoS tablet solution to their existing bsmart2 stock systems, but we were also delighted to see a high number of potential new clients who are looking for either a mobile PoS system with no stock management, or a mobile solution with full bsmart2 stock integration.” reported Bransom MD Chris Garland.
We're delighted to congratulate Alison Harris of Laings of Glasgow on winning the Bransom-sponsored NAJ Jet 1 Project Award for January. Your prize will be on it's way to you shortly.
